BHUTAN

The Kingdom of Bhutan, Capital: Thimphu. Bhutan is located in southern Asia, between China and India.

Bhutan has no written constitution or bill of rights. It was an absolute monarchy until 1998, when a royal edict gave limited power to a national assembly and a royal advisory council. In November 2001, the King set up a Constitution Drafting Committee, which presented a completed draft in December 2002.
